In January 2007 as a result of several brainstorming sessions, Theresa Myers Postan saw a great opportunity and started Bookkeepers of Houston. With over two decades in dealing with record keeping practices and managing diverse enterprises, she decided the time was ripe to concentrate all her efforts in a Bookkeeping firm that was "more than just a data input process".
As the first month in business grew a steady clientele, Theresa's also expanded services that were time savers to her customers. Not only bookkeeping was fun to do with QuickBooks Pro ( and putting the clients under control ) but also helping them with money saving tactics, accelerating pay-offs, servicing their banking, invoicing and checking needs, and "sanitizing charts of accounts" left by previous inexperienced practitioners.
